Yes, there are shower facilities located in T2. Please note there is no facility to rent towels.

Wheelchair Assistance via Airlines
Wheelchair assistance is the responsibility of the airlines.Please advise your airline or travel agent when making a flight booking of any accessibility needs or assistance required at the airport. The airline or travel agent can then make necessary arrangements, for example, to book a wheelchair or offer assistance to the aircraft.
Airlines may have different guidelines for the carriage of people with accessibility needs and requirements for special assistance. We recommend that you speak to your airline at the time of your booking and check the airline’s website for its special assistance and accessibility policies and procedures.

Onsite Mobility Hubs – Trial Service (Available Until 10 January 2025)Melbourne Airport, in partnership with Travellers Aid, is trialling Onsite Mobility Hubs aimed at improving the airport experience for passengers with limited mobility. These hubs offer assistance for moving between car parks, check-in areas, baggage halls, and pick-up/drop-off zones.
This is a free of charge service and bookings are not necessary. The service is available from Monday to Friday between 10am and 6pm. For any queries, please contact Travellers Aid on 0492 868 960.

Can I purchase foreign currency at Melbourne Airport?
Travelex has multi-currency ATMs located throughout the International terminal where you can buy a range of foreign currencies. Currency exchange booths are also located throughout the International Terminal.
Where can I find lost property?
Melbourne Airport has a lost property service located in Terminal 3, behind the Virgin Australia check-in.
Contact lost property direct for inquiries about items lost while inside the airport. Please note if you lost an item on an aircraft, you will have to notify the airline.
Is there a prayer room at the airport?
Yes, there are two 24/7 multi-denominational prayer rooms which are located:
- On the ground floor between Terminal 2 and 3
- In Terminal 2, after security (opposite Cafe Sol)

Medical Centre
Yes, Melbourne Airport Health and Medical Centre is located on level 1 in T1 (Qantas domestic).
Open hours - Monday–Thursday, 8am – 4pm, Friday, 9.30am – 5pm, Closed Saturday, Sunday and public holidays
Post Office
There is no post office in the terminals however there are two Australia Post mail boxes located at Melbourne Airport – one on Departures Drive (T1 Qantas, Departures end) and one on the ground floor of the Transport Hub near T4 (car park).
Mobile Phone Charging Stations
Phone charging stations are available at various locations in both the International and Domestic terminals.
If you have forgotten your phone charger, don’t worry. You can purchase a charger from the following stores:

Yes, there is a pharmacy in T1, T2 and T4.

Does Melbourne Airport have free Wi-Fi?
We sure do. It’s available throughout the terminals (T2, T3 &T4) including public spaces. Please note that Wi-Fi connectivity is not available in Terminal 1, which is operated by Qantas.

Are there any smoking areas at Melbourne Airport?
Designated smoking areas are limited at Melbourne Airport.
Melbourne Airport has created smoke-free areas at our Arrivals and Departures entrance and exit in T2, T3 and T4, clearly marked with signage.
If you are a smoker, we ask that you please ensure you use the designated smoking areas provided and do not smoke in the marked smoke-free areas.
Victorian and Commonwealth Governments do not allow smoking in enclosed areas including the terminal building. Customs and Border Security do not permit transit passengers to exit the terminal. For these reasons, Melbourne Airport is unable to provide smoking areas for transiting passengers.
The use of e-cigarettes is also not permitted within the terminal building and can only be used within external designated smoking areas at Melbourne Airport.
