Accessible Parking Bays
At Melbourne Airport, we’re committed to making your parking experience easy and accessible. Each car park has designated accessible parking bays close to terminal entrances or bus stops, clearly marked for your convenience.
Accessible parking bays in the T1, T2, and T3 car parks are strategically placed near the lifts. Designed with your comfort in mind, our lifts feature wide doors, wheelchair-friendly controls, and Braille panels. At Terminal 4, accessible bays are available on Levels 1 and 2, just 100 metres from the terminal, with a covered walkway to keep you sheltered along the way.
If you’re using our Value Car Park, accessible bus shelters are also available. Our free shuttle buses that run every 15 minutes, 24/7 are also Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliant, making your transfer to any terminal smooth and hassle-free.
Please make sure to always display a valid Disability Parking Permit when using these spaces.
Finding available parking bays
Need help locating a spot? Look up!
When entering our Terminal or Premium car parks, look out for the ‘Available space’ signs to let you know how many spaces are free on that level.
Once you've selected a level, follow the colour-coded LED lights to indicate available spaces.
Red = Occupied
Green = Vacant
Blue = Vacant Accessible Parking

Making changes to your booking
At Melbourne Airport, we understand that travel plans can change in a heartbeat. That’s why we offer flexibility in your parking bookings.
If you need to make changes to your booking, you can amend or cancel it using the Manage My Booking function on our parking page. This is completely free of charge. However, this option is only available up to two hours before your booked arrival time.
If your plans change while your car is already parked, you can easily extend your booking with Manage My Booking on our parking page. Just remember, bookings can only be extended before your booked exit time has passed, so you’re covered as long as you manage it in advance.
If you need to change or cancel your booking within 2 hours of your booked arrival time, call our customer service team at +61 3 9297 1318. Please note that if your new booking costs more than your previous one, you’ll be required to pay the difference.
The best part? We also offer a one-hour grace period for both before and after your booked parking hours. So, if your travel plans change and you need to arrive an hour earlier or leave an hour later than your booked time, you can do so without any extra charges. Basically, you’re getting 2 hours of parking for free!
Infringements
Parking infringement notices are issued by Australian Pacific Airports Melbourne (APAM) – the managers and operators of Melbourne Airport. APAM issues these parking infringement notices in accordance with the Airports (Control of On-Airport Activities) Regulations 1997.
As thousands of cars and vehicles travel to and from Melbourne Airport each week, ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic is one of our key priorities. Parking infringement notices are a necessary method of regulating and controlling the use of parking spaces at Melbourne Airport for those who park illegally or disobey the parking rules.
Do not ignore a parking infringement notice. You have 28 days after the date the notice is served to either: pay the fine, submit a statutory declaration nominating the driver or appeal the infringement.
Revenue from parking infringements is received by the Federal Government.
If you wish to have your parking infringement notice dealt with by the Magistrates Court, take no action regarding your notice – legal proceedings will be instigated by Melbourne Airport.
