Plan ahead: Allow extra travel time to Melbourne Airport

PSA: If you’re heading to the airport over January to early March 2025, we encourage you to allow an extra 30 minutes for your journey due to potential delays caused by construction works in the Terminal 123 forecourt. If you're picking up or dropping off loved ones, consider using Exit 19A and the Terminal 4 Car Park to avoid congestion in the Terminal 123 forecourt. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Stormwater Legal Point of Discharge

Overview

Stormwater Legal Point of Discharge refers to the designated location where stormwater runoff from a property or development is legally allowed to be released into the wider Melbourne Airport stormwater network.

All construction activities at Melbourne Airport which alters the existing stormwater network and/or connects to the stormwater network will require a Legal point of Discharge application to be submitted and approved prior to the commencement of works.

Understanding and adhering to the legal point of discharge application process is essential for responsible stormwater management at Melbourne Airport.
