Overview

Each day more than 30,000 vehicles access our forecourt including taxis, bus operators and hire cars.

To ensure the safety of everyone who uses our forecourt we provide designated ground transport zones for dropping off and picking up passengers.

We invest in and maintain our road network to reduce congestion across the airport estate and ensure all on-airport roads operate safely and efficiently.

Access fees apply to all commercial transport operators accessing the forecourt, in accordance with the regulation regime of airports.

VHA & limousine operators

To ensure customers are provided with a superior experience, Melbourne Airport provides Hire Car and Limousine drivers with exclusive dedicated parking bays at reduced parking rates.

Bus operator access

The airport actively manages traffic in this congested high-demand area. For all bus operators accessing the airport, access terms and operating conditions apply.

Taxi access

Melbourne Airport is the busiest taxi rank in Victoria, maintaining an efficient & safe taxi network is a priority. Taxis can be pre-booked or passengers can be picked up taxi ranks.
