Overview
All team members and contractors required to complete mandatory learning must do so via the APAC People Central Learning Management System (LMS).
To access the LMS, contractors will need to use Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), a security mechanism to build stronger authentication into the People Central Learning login process.
A Quick Reference Guide on logging into the LMS and using MFA has been created to assist users setting up their access.
If you require further assistance, please review the Frequently Asked Questions below or contact the Learning and Capability team.
FAQs
What is Multi-factor Authentication (MFA)?
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a security mechanism to build stronger authentication into the People Central Learning system standard login process.
MFA enhances the security of your user account by requiring you to provide two different forms of authentication before you can access your account.
What are the prerequisites to use Multi-factor Authentication?
Logging into People Central with MFA will also require you to use a mobile device, such as a smartphone, with an authenticator app that supports the time-based one-time password (TOTP) algorithm. Some popular authenticator apps include Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Okta Verify, and many others available in app stores.
How to register a device with a QR Code?
Once you have entered your username and password on People Central Login page, you will be required to scan the QR Code on the screen using any authenticator app. If this does not work, you can use the key provided to register your device with your preferred authenticator app.
How to delete or replace an existing device?
After logging in, navigate to the system menu then “My Account” and click on MFA button. It will give the option to either delete or replace the registered device. Once the device is deleted or replaced, another screen will appear where you can either scan the QR code or use the key provided to register the new device.
Can I delete MFA after I have logged into People Central for the first time?
No. To ensure ongoing security of both the platform and your profile, you will require MFA every time you log into People Central.
What to do if MFA is not working?
If MFA is not working or if the account has been deleted from the authenticator app, email the Australia Pacific Airports Corporation (APAC) Learning and Capability team at [email protected] and provide your Username/Email ID. The Learning and Capability team will reset your MFA connection, enabling you to re-register a device with your preferred Authenticator app.
What to do if you forget your Email Address for logging into People Central?
If you have forgotten your username, please email [email protected]. The team will be able to search via your first and last name. Once your profile has been verified, they will be able to initiate a password reset to the email address linked to your account. In the event you no longer have access to this email address, you may need to create a new profile using a different email address.
APAC Learning and Capability team can also merge your different profiles to ensure you maintain continuity of your learning history.
What to do if you forget your password?
If you have forgotten your password, click on “Forgot your password” on People Central login page. A window will appear asking for your Username or User ID which is same as your login email. Once entered, you will receive an email prompting you to reset your password.
What to do if webpages are not loading?
If you experience a slow response from system webpages, there could be number of reasons for it including slow internet connection or network congestion. The best course of action would be to refresh the webpage. If this does not resolve the problem, please email [email protected].
I have moved employers but am still working within the airport precinct. Can I keep my existing profile?
Yes! Please email [email protected] providing your first name, last name, the email address currently registered to your profile and your new email address. The Learning and Capability team will be able to update your profile for you, ensuring learning continuity.
