Car parks at Melbourne Airport are very busy

Our car parks are very busy. If you do not have a car park booking, consider alternative modes of transport. Due to ongoing construction on Naarm Way Stage 2, please allow 30 minutes extra travel time for potential traffic delays. If you do have a booking, please allow plenty of time to find a spot and have your QR code ready for a smooth entry and exit.

Naarm Way Project Stage 2 - Preliminary Minor Variation

Melbourne Airport is proposing a minor change to the Elevated Road and Forecourt Project Stage 2 (now referred to as the Naarm Way Project Stage 2) that is now open for public consultation. The change proposed is to relocate the over height vehicle exit ramp to improve safety and operational efficiency for users of Naarm Way. An overview of the changes can be found in this fact sheet.

This project was approved by the Commonwealth Government in October 2021. The approved Major Development Plan can be found here.

As well as being available online to review, copies of the document will be available for inspection by members of the public from 28 June 2024 for a period of 15 business days. The document can be viewed at the office of Australia Pacific Airports (Melbourne) Pty Ltd, Level 2, Terminal 4, Melbourne Airport, between 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.  

Members of the public are invited to make written comments on the Preliminary Draft Minor Variation. Comments can be handed to our reception, sent to the Planning Manager, Melbourne Airport, Locked Bag 16, Tullamarine VIC 3043, or via email at [email protected]. The closing date for receipt of submissions is 19 July 2024.
