The car parks and roads at Melbourne Airport are very busy this week

All car parks at Melbourne Airport are very busy this week and booking out fast. If you don't have a booking, consider alternate forms of transport to come to the airport. If you do have a booking, allow extra time to find a spot and have your QR code ready for a smooth entry. If using the Terminal 4 car park including pick up and drop off, please note Naarm Way is closed until mid November. To access the T4 car park, please exit the Tullamarine Freeway at Exit 18 on Mercer Drive, then turn right at the Airport Drive roundabout and follow the signs to the Terminal 4 car park. Proceed to Level 2 for drop-offs or Level 1 for pick-ups. Due to ongoing construction in the Terminal 1,2,3 car park pick up and drop off areas, passengers should plan for potential delays of up to an hour during peak times if you are being dropped off by a loved one, taxi or Uber.  Thank you for your patience while we are building your airport.

Partnering with Juno and McAuley to Support Those in Crisis

Many travellers will recognise the airport’s Chaplain, Martyn.

Martyn and our chaplaincy team walk the terminals every day, providing comfort to passengers and staff alike. They are the first point of contact for people arriving at the airport in crisis.

As an airport, we see firsthand the tragic consequence of family violence and homelessness. People arrive at the airport after fleeing dangerous situations, often with nothing but the clothes on their back and nowhere safe to go.

Through our relationship with specialist services Juno and McAuley, our chaplaincy team can immediately connect individuals with support and a way forward.

For the second year, Melbourne Airport is proud to host our Car Park Sleepout and invite our staff, partners, stakeholders and community to join us in raising funds for Juno and McAuley.

It’s incredibly important that women, children and non-binary people fleeing family and domestic violence and facing homelessness can access support and safety.

Ready to make a difference? The 2025 Melbourne Airport Car Park Sleepout is a community event, and everyone is welcome to take part.
