Melbourne Airport has supported Helping Hands Mission since 2024. We support Helping Hands food relief program which operates out of Airport West and Sunshine food pantries.ย
Helping Hands is a not-for-profit that provides crisis food relief and material aid to families in need. Helping Hands work with supermarkets, food banks, food rescue organisations, manufacturers and local hospitality businesses to provide fresh food, pantry staples, freezer essentials, toiletries and personal hygiene items. Many families accessing Helping Hands support live in Melbourneโs north west in areas that are close to the airport, including in the Local Government Areas of Hume and Brimbank.
