There are disruptions due to construction work around Melbourne Airport. Please check this list so you can plan ahead.

Due to ongoing construction in the T123 car park pick-up and drop-off areas, passengers should plan for potential delays of up to an hour during peak times.

To avoid congestion, we recommend using the equivalent pick-up and drop-off facilities at nearby Terminal 4 car park, just a short 10-minute walk from Terminals 1, 2, and 3. Simply drive to the Terminal 4 Car Park and proceed to Level 2 for drop-offs or Level 1 for pick-ups.

Please refer to the map below, where each impact is labelled with a corresponding number for easy reference.

1. Public Pick-Up (Lane 4): 11 pick-up bays closed.

2A. Level 1: 20 bays closed for VHA Boom Gate work. 

2B. Entry Helix blocked from Level 2 upward. Access to Levels 2 to 6 terminal parking via Rear Helix via Level 1 access route.

2C. Level 2: 580 bays closed in the old Valet and Premium carpark

2D. Level 3: 260 bays permanently closed for new drop off area

3A. Exit: Three boom gates open.

3B. Boom gate lane closures (24th March to 25th March Night time: 11:30 PM to 5:00 AM)

4. Alternate entrance to the  T123 Carpark operational via helix ramp from 13^th March 2025

5. Car Rental Returns to enter carpark via Centre Rd

6. Arrivals Drive: Reduced to 3 lanes.

7. Pedestrian Detour: In place between Value Car Park and the terminals.

8. Terminal Drive slow lane closures Nighttime 11:00 PM – 4:00 AM (24th March to 27th March)

9. Reduction of 4 taxi bays near old Qantas Valet from 24th March to 28th March

10. Ramp Lane Closure: One lane remains closed on the Naarm Way Stage 1 ramp.

11A. Northbound Lane Closures: Night time: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Sunday to Thursday , from 29th January to 28^st  March). Maintaining entrance to the car park.

11B. Northbound Lane Closures: Day time 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday to Friday from 29th January to 16^th April). Maintaining entrance to the car park

11C. Southbound Double Lane Closure Nighttime 10:00 PM – 5:00 PM (16th March to 20th March)

11D. Northbound Centre Rd Carriageway Closure + 1 southbound lane closure: Nighttime: 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM (from Monday 24th March to Wednesday 26th March)

11E. Southbound Centre Rd Carriageway Closure + 1 northbound lane closure: Nighttime: 11:00 PM to 4:00AM (Thursday 27 March)

12. No access to Business Car Park

• Assistance is available for passengers in the forecourt area.
• Plan for up to 30 minutes of additional travel time to account for potential delays.
• For smoother pick-ups, use the T4 pick-up area to avoid congestion in the T123 forecourt.
