Disabled Parking at Melbourne Airport

Disabled car parking spaces are conveniently located in every car park at Melbourne Airport. Please note a valid Disabled Permit must be displayed when using the designated disabled car parking spaces.

    The At Terminal T1 T2 T3 and Business car parks offer disabled access and convenient location for closest to terminal parking.

    At Terminal T1 T2 T3 parking

    The At Terminal T1 T2 T3 Car Park lifts have been designed with the wide doors and low height controls to ensure accessibility from a wheelchair. The control panel is also written in Braille.

    Disabled parking is available in row K at the ground level, located behind the car rental area, adjacent to the lifts and also on levels 1, 2 and 3 adjacent to the lifts.

    For easy access to T3 (Virgin Australia) and T2 International Terminal park in disabled bays located in row F on levels 1, 2 and 3. For access to T1 (Qantas) use row M on levels 1, 2 and 3.

    Once you have parked, please proceed to level 2 of the car park and follow signage to the terminals. This will lead you to the sky bridges which grant undercover access to the terminals.

    All disabled bays are under cover.

    Carers assisting passengers with companion cards are eligible for a full parking fee refund if the following requirements are met:

    1. the carer can prove that the passenger was either departing or arriving on a flight;
    2. the passenger has a valid companion card; and
    3. the carer had parked in the At Terminal T1 T2 T3 or T4 car park for 2 hours or less.

    Once you have submitted your refund request, we will contact you to provide evidence that your refund request meets the criteria set out above.

    Business Car Park

    There is one disabled parking bay in the Business Car Park, located close to the T1 (Qantas) terminal.

    We recommend this car park for T1 (Qantas) travellers only as other terminals are at some distance.

    Access to terminals is through an open-air path.

    The At Terminal T4 car park offers disabled access and convenient location for Terminal 4 (jetstar, Tigerair, Rex and Airnorth) passengers.

    At Terminal T4 Car Park

    The At Terminal T4 Car Park lifts have been designed with the wide doors and low height controls to ensure accessibility from a wheelchair. The control panel is also written in Braille.

    Disabled parking is available in row B and C of level 1 and rows B, C and D on level 2.

    Easy access to Terminal 4 is through the Transport Hub on the ground level.

    All disabled bays are under cover.

    Long Term Disabled Parking

    Disabled parking is available in section A of the outdoor long term car park.

    Enter via Terminal Drive and drive straight in to section A of the outdoor long term car park. Disabled bays are located right next to bus shelter A.

    Park and proceed to bus shelter A, which is wheelchair friendly, undercover, air-conditioned and heated for your comfort. A courtesy shuttle bus runs continuously from Long term car park and will drop you right in front of the terminals. All courtesy shuttle buses are DDA compliant, cater for those with a disability and are wheelchair friendly. Please ask your bus driver for assistance should you require it.

    Wait Zone Disabled

    Designated drop-off bays are allocated in front of terminals 1, 2 and 3 to facilitate wheelchair transfer for disabled passengers; however, for security reasons, the driver must remain with the vehicle at all times.
