The new system will help passengers to easily find their check-in counter, reduce congestion and assist airline on-time performance.

It will also help will ensure check-in information is displayed from the time that Airline Check in is open (generally 3 hours prior to scheduled departure time).

Furthermore, it will assist in increasing visibility  within the terminal, with three new dual display Flight Information Display Screens (FIDS)  with map light boxes at the end of check-in banks 34-44, 56-66 and 78-88. Counter displays in FIDS and Split Flap boards will be changed to reflect the Zone naming.
