Travellers’ Services manages the lost property service, which caters for any item/s which have been lost or misplaced within Terminal 2 (T2), Terminal 3 (T3), Terminal 4 (T4) and the security checkpoints only.

For lost property on board an aircraft, or from within the airline lounge or boarding lounge/gate area, please contact the relevent airline directly - contact details are at the bottom of this page.

Outside the listed hours of operation, please use the link above or leave a message on the listed phone number and a staff member will contact you within the next shift. 

To retrieve an item that has been found, you will be provided with an item number which needs to be quoted in all communication.   An appointment is necessary to pick-up items as this will enable staff to have your item ready for you when you call to collect it.   Alternatively, there is a service provided to have items forwarded by post or courier. (Costs incurred are payable by the owner)

Lost Property retrieval options

  • Owners can make an appointment and pick up the items from our international desk located on the ground floor (T2) Note: 48 Hours is to be given to minimize waiting times.
  • Owners can make their own arrangements with the courier - Pack and Send.
  • Contact +613 9338 0099. Note: You must provide the courier with the item number and advise us that they will be retrieving the item.
  • Owners can send in a prepaid Australia Post envelope. Note: You must ensure that you quote the item number on the return envelope.

If a passenger has lost their passport they need to contact Immigration directly.
