The Melbourne Airport Master Plan 2008 and the Melbourne Airport Environment Strategy 2008are two important documents that shape the future for Melbourne Airport. Each document is updated every five years.
The Melbourne Airport Master Plan 2008 outlines the vision for Melbourne Airport's medium and long-term future. It includes plans for future runways, terminals, transport access and other key airport developments.
The Melbourne Airport Environment Strategy 2008 outlines our commitments to the environment at Melbourne Airport, including targets for the next five years and beyond.
The Preliminary Drafts of the Melbourne Airport Master Plan 2008 and Melbourne Airport Environment Strategy 2008 are now available for all Victorians to view online for comment. Each document is also available for inspection at the Melbourne Airport Management offices (Level 2, T2, Melbourne Airport) between 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Members of the public can provide comments/feedback about the Preliminary Drafts until 5.00pm, Friday, July 11. After this date, comments will be considered, and these documents will be updated and then submitted to the Federal Government.
