Commercial Vehicles

All commercial licensed vehicles, such as (VHA/SV/RH) and their drivers wishing to operate at Melbourne Airport must be authorised by being issued a Landside Drivers Authority (LDA) by Melbourne Airport. 

A Current Drivers Certificate or Commercial Passenger Vehicle License issued by the Victorian Taxi Directorate does not automatically permit drivers to pick up passengers from Melbourne Airport or park in the Premium Parking Car Park. 

Please refer to the attached document for the relevant procedure to obtain access authorisation from Melbourne Airport from 1 July 2010.

All Hire Car operators must complete and lodge the Hire Car Operator Registration Form prior to any new Vehicle Authorities or Landside Driver Authorities being issued to their company.  Please click here to download the Hire Car Registration form.
