Community Aviation Consulation Group

The Community Aviation Consulation Group (CACG) is an independent forum where community members and organisations can raise opinions and issues regarding the airport. These include planning and development matters. The CACG also identifies current and emerging trends in respect to community opinion.

The CACG has 10 members consisting of local community representatives, Australian Mayoral Aviation Council, Trades Hall Council, Department of Planning and Community Development and an independent chair. In addition to the members noted above, meetings are attended by representatives from the Department of Infrastructure and Transport, Air Services Australia and Melbourne Airport management.

The group meets each quarter, with a session at each meeting being open to the public.

The Melbourne Airport Community Aviation Consultation Group invites the public to attend the next quarterly meeting.
